Hey just getting back from a week out in NYC. Crazy times as always. Our party at the Vault Friday night turned out to be another star studded affair. Mr. Walt (of Da Beatminerz) came to celebrate his birthday also shout out to Evil Dee, Crazy DJ Bazarro, Greg Nice, J. Period & The whole Beatminerz radio family for passing through. Man first & foremost I’d like to thank all 800 of you that came out to the Sheen Bros/Freedom Party jumpoff that went down at Brooklyn Bowl this Sunday. To have Lord Finesse & Greg Nice on the mic while me & Cosmo played our set was one of the most classic hip-hop memories of my life. Scroll down for some pics of the night.

The sun is shining, the snow is gone & I’m still hibernating in the studio most days. It’s been a pretty crazy & hectic month of recording for my solo album that’s rapidly reaching completion. So far I got guest shots & production from the likes of Greg Nice, Simahlak, Rich Kidd, Showtyme, Sheen Bros & some more surprises. I’m really excited to get this out to the world…it’s been a LONG time coming but it’ll be completely worth the wait.

Speaking of solo stuff here’s a cool interview I did with my good homeys & really great DJ Bag designers – Tucker & Bloom.

Always a personal favorite of mine, Guru & Premier truly embodied the definition & sound of hip-hop and consistently elevated the art form. Watsup world. I’m actually still stuck on South Beach with an ear infection & can’t leave till Sunday. Boohoohoo I know it’s a tough life over here. Anyways WMC 2010 was a huge success this year. I met tons of great new people and saw some of the best & most inspired DJ/Live music sets from so many ill dudes it was truly humbling.

Chilling outside of the illy mansion party with Al Swaki (Chung King Studios), Greg Nice (Nice & Smooth), Tamir Z. Brown (Lyics to Go), Big Al & Case Bloom. This party was pretty legendary – dude who owned the crib had a yacht lodged in the backyard with a full open bar and Crystal Waters showed up & tore it down.

Speaking of Greg Nice we debuted our new Sheen single featuring him Sunday night at Purdy Lounge and completely shut shit down! Be on the lookout for this alongside some heavy hitting remixes from some A-List dudes in the game coming real soon.

Oh what’s that in my hand? A copy of that Scumbag Funk Vol. 1 & 2 on CD finally! Sheen Bros greatest of all time HAHA

Yooo!! It’s been a crazy March for the kid. I was in NYC at the top of the month to re-launch The Sheenic Route at the Vault. Shit was super dope. While I was in NYC I also got to jump into the lab with the one & only Greg Nice of Nice & Smooth and he blessed a Sheen Bros track lovely which you’ll be hearing real soon!

I’m just getting back from a great weekend out in Vancouver where I rocked at Fortune Sound Club. What was slated to be a Sheen Bros gig suddenly turned into a solo affair as some last minute customs bullshit kept Cosmo from making the trip. Regardless, shit was super thorough and I got to spend a couple of days off out there (which is rare) and connect with alot of Van City heads. Shout out to Rob Rizk, GMAN, Nina Mendoza, DJ Static (We Funk), Love & Elektrik, U-Tern & all the other great people I built with out there.
